TRC is a Christian, biblical, Reformed, traditional Congregational church.
We are first and foremost Christians. We are a gathered company of saints committed to worshiping, obeying and following our Lord Jesus Christ.
We strive to be biblical in all things. We believe the 66 books of the Holy Scriptures to be the only inerrant, infallible, inspired, authoritative written Word of God. We believe in sola Scriptura, that the Bible is the final authority in all matters and we believe tota Scriptura, that all of Scripture should be applied for all of life. We believe in expository preaching.
We are Reformed in theology, confessing the great creeds of the Reformed Tradition to be the best and fullest explanation of the orthodox biblical Christian faith.
We are traditional not only in belief but in practice. We believe in traditional Protestant worship, rejecting the idea that worship should be based on worldly tastes and business strategies rather then the Word of God.
Finally, we are Congregational, from the New England Puritan tradition, believing that all Christians are saints and that a local assembly of saints can constitute a true church, part of the universal church.
